Details: Shutdown in the Central plant could be longer than the expected 4 hours. Murdock Hall will be back on line by 6:00 AM.

Reason: Investigate Roof Drain Assembly from underside of Roof Deck through 4th Floor Ceiling System. The Security System above ceiling at Hayden Library on the 4th Floor is tied into the Fire Alarm. In order to perform this exploratory of Roof Drain Assemblies we require a temporary shutdown.
Details: This investigation will allow CORE Construction and its plumbing contractor to understand what materials and the scope of work required to repair (replace) the 11 Roof Drain Assemblies at Hayden Library. Subsequent Shutdown Requests will be submitted for your approval to perform actual repairs and replacements where required.

Restored Date: Wednesday, November 25, 2009, 4:00 PM
Reason: Shutdown AH-1 for Dr. Anbar's lab and the associated exhaust in order to replace SS duct inn the mechancal room.
Details: Duct upgrade.

Areas: All Laboratories (air handlers 3 & 4 and combined exhaust fans)

Shutdown Date: Wednesday, November 25, 2009, 4:00 PM
Restored Date: Monday, November 30, 2009, 8:00 AM
Reason: Converting Laboratory HVAC and Exhaust systems to digital control and automation. All supply ventilation and exhuast in laboratories will be off!
Details: Building must be vacated before ventilation is shut down. No occupancy for campus community during this period. All chemicals and hazardous materials must be safely stored before the shut-down and must stay that way until Monday morning after restart of systems. Also on site for APSES call Mike McGill 1-928-210-7227

Shutdown Date: Friday, November 27, 2009, 6:00 AM
Restored Date: Sunday, November 29, 2009, 8:00 AM
Reason: Replace Air Handlers and Exhaust systems controls with digital.
Details: All supply air and exhaust air service to all laboratories will be off. Building must be unoccupied before shut-down, and must remain unoccupied for the duration of the shut-down. All chemicals and hazardous materials must be safely and properly stowed before the shut-down and must remain so for the duration.
