Products: Computers

How to Get Started

1. Contact your department's IT group to consult on required specifications and standard configurations. NOTE: Departments supported by Business Technology Services (BTS) should see the BTS guidelines and contact the BTS Help Desk for all computer-related purchases.

2. Determine your computer needs:

  • How many computers do I need?
  • How much money is there to spend?
  • How quickly do I need them? The fastest and easiest way to purchase and receive goods is through your P-Card.

3. Look at the manufacturer's online configurations - to view all catalogs, see ASU's SunMart website. Compare Apple, HP, Dell, Gateway, Lenovo/IBM, CLH International Inc., and Compucom.
