Camp Tontozona

Sparky's Den at Camp Tontozona

An escape from the Valley’s summer heat is within reach by way of a short, two-hour drive to Camp Tontozona, Arizona State University’s exclusive, 36-acre campsite nestled in the pines of the Tonto National Forest.

Intended as a serene destination point for ASU faculty, staff, alumni and retirees, Camp Tontozona, or, “Camp T,” provides the perfect setting for groups of all sizes. Camp T can accommodate individuals looking for respite, a small get-together of family and friends, or a large group for family reunions and conferences.

On site, campers find comfortable lodging in fully furnished cabins, playing fields, classrooms and a meeting hall surrounded by apple trees, scenic mountains, creeks and hiking trails. Horseback riding and fishing are within one mile of the campground.
