Athletic Supplies 7320 03 A commodity needed for athletic activities and events (such as athletic tape, socks and jerseys).
Field Supplies 7320 04 A commodity needed to perform field work for research or instructional purposes.
Lab / Medical Supplies 7320 05 A commodity needed for experimentation, observation or practice in a field of study (such as goggles, aprons, test tubes, flasks and plates).
Chemicals 7320 06 Any chemical purchased for any purpose (lab research, cleaning supplies)
Compressed Gases and Liquids 7320 09 Substances that are neither solid nor gaseous, but free in movement, that have been reduced in size or volume by pressure or by another means; or fluids that have neither independent shape nor volume (such as liquid or compressed nitrogen, helium and oxygen).
Radioactive Material 7320 10 An element or substance that spontaneously emits alpha, beta or gamma rays.
R/M Supplies — Audiovisual 7320 13 Commodity items purchased by a department to restore, use, and/or maintain audio-visual equipment (such as belts, lenses, film, projector bulbs, small recorders, fuses, tapes, screens, microphones, and AV lamps and speakers).
R/M Supplies — R/M Materials and Supplies 7320 17 Commodity items purchased by a department to restore and/or maintain grounds, infrastructure, utility systems, buildings or equipment.
R/M Supplies — Vehicles 7320 41 Commodity items purchased by a department to restore and/or maintain vehicles (such as tires, batteries, filters, belts, spark plugs and hoses).
Software 7320 48 The entire set of programs, procedures, and related documentation associated with a computer system (such as Symphony, Lotus 1-2-3 and word processing packages). Includes custom software packages costing less than $50,000 each. Software costing $50,000 or more per package is coded to 7810 09.
Electronic Data Processing (EDP)—Other 7320 57 Any supply or material connected with electronic data processing that is not magnetic media or paper.
Paper 7320 60 Paper not used for copier machines. Paper for copier machines is coded to 7320 65.
Preprinted Forms 7320 61 Documents with blank spaces for insertion of required or requested information that have been printed in advance of an intended use (such as application forms, data entry documents, questionnaires and diplomas).
Copier/Duplicating/Printing Supplies 7320 65 Items used for copier machines (such as paper and toner).
Books/Reference Material 7320 69 A set of printed sheets bound together into a volume, printed material, or CD-ROMs that direct a reader or researcher to specific sources of information. Books or books on CD-ROMs for the University Libraries (Fletcher Library, Architecture and Environmental Design Library, Hayden Library, Music Library, Noble Science and Engineering Library and University Archives) and the College of Law Library are coded to 7810 69, regardless of cost.

Animals 7320 77 Purchases of live and/or dead animals for biology classes and scientific research.
Vehicle Fuel 7320 81 Gasoline (fuel) used in transportation vehicles.
Merchandise and Supplies for Resale 7320 85 Commodities or goods that are bought and then resold.
Rare and Precious Metals 7320 89 Any of various opaque, fusible, ductile and typically lustrous substances that are unusual and of great value on a per unit basis (such as, gold, platinum and silver).
Nonprecious Metals 7320 90 Any of various opaque, fusible, ductile and typically lustrous substances available at a relatively small cost per unit.
