Paint Services

Paint Services is responsible for regular and specially requested jobs or projects involving painting, dry wall finishing and texturing, furniture and room refinishing and other miscellaneous services.

For general inquiries regarding ongoing work or cost estimates, please contact our Service Center at 480.965.3633 during regular business hours (6:30 am through 5:00 pm M-F) or use our online Facilities Management Information System (FMIS) to perform a work order search.

Some of the regular maintenance provided by Paint Services:

• Paint building interiors and exteriors
• Remove graffiti
• Paint light poles
• Paint interiors of elevator cabs
• Repair/remove wall coverings in hallways
• Street and crosswalk striping

It is our mission to renew all interior and exterior finished surfaces in a timely and as needed manner to enhance the visual environment of the ASU at the Tempe campus.

Due to the variety of materials and surfaces used and the transitory nature of our faculty, staff and students it is nearly impossible to predict when any given area or surface will need renewal chronologically.

Some of the chargeable services performed by Paint Services:

• Drywall finishing, texturing and painting associated with remodels or renovations
• Apply finishes to custom furniture, fixtures and equipment
• Painting an area not in need of maintenance
• Painting unmatched areas that are uncovered during remodeling or relocating wall mounted things like bulletin boards, marker boards, pictures, etc.
• Remove graffiti (estimated over $100)
• Change color of walls, trim, cabinets and doors
• Hang wall coverings in rooms
