Disabled Parking: Temporary Permit
State Authorized Temporary Disabled Parking
Individuals with a temporary disability may:
- Purchase an ASU disabled placard to be displayed along with their current lot- or structure-specific permit in conjuction with the state authorized temporary disabled parking placard.

- Purchase an ASU disabled all-access permit. Individuals must have a current ASU parking permit AND pay the difference between their current permit and an ASU disabled all-access permit. Individuals opting to purchase the disabled all-access permit must pay a $25 refundable fee to receive a gate access card allowing them admission into the parking structures.
A temporary state disabled placard issued in the applicant's name and photo identification must be shown at the time of purchase.
Physician Authorized Temporary Disabled Parking
Individuals must have a current ASU parking permit. Photo identification must be shown at the time of purchase. A medical doctor or the student health center must provide the following information on either doctor's office letterhead or a prescription form:
- Patient's name
- Nature of disability
- Inclusive dates of disability (must specify actual dates, not to exceed six weeks)
- Specifically state that disabled parking is required (the term "closer parking" is not acceptable)
