Parking Permits: Lost/Stolen Permits
Customers whose permits have been either lost or stolen are required to complete a Lost/Stolen Parking Permit Affidavit in person at their campus permit sales office (Downtown, Polytechnic, Tempe or West).
The replacement fee for the first lost permit is $25. Subsequent lost permits are replaced and charged the scheduled sales rate at that time (NO refunds are provided for replacement permits). The permit replacement fee is waived (one time) for a stolen permit ONLY if an official police report documenting the theft of the permit is provided. A $25 fee is charged for replacement of gate access cards whether lost or stolen. Replacement fees due to additional theft of permits, gate access cards, or other items should be reported to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement.
If a lost/stolen permit is recovered, it must be returned to permit sales immediately.
Any use of a lost/stolen permit will result in impoundment of the vehicle displaying the permit on any ASU campus, an assessment of fines and a dean referral.
As a reminder, parking permits are the property of the university. PTS reserves the right to confiscate permit(s) that are found to have been altered or counterfeit or have been reported lost/stolen from any vehicle, and will do so during the impoundment process.
