The university hosts more than 1,600 events and welcomes thousands of visitors each year. ASU Parking and Transit Services is committed to providing visitors, guests and members of the university community with convenient access to campus to assist in creating an overall positive experience at ASU. Attended Visitor Structures

Various parking structures and lots on the ASU campuses offer attended parking where guests pull a ticket upon entrance to one of these gate-controlled facilities and pay (cash only) upon exiting.

Pay By Space Lots

These lots do not have staff attendants, and each visitor must follow the instructions on the pay machine located within the lot. Overnight parking is NOT allowed.

Meter Locations

Visitors to ASU who need short-term parking can use one of the many metered parking areas. Meters are $1.50 per hour, with a maximum of one-hour parking. All meters at the Tempe campus require payment from Mon-Sat, 7am-10pm. Meters accept nickels, dimes, and quarters. Pennies will be accepted by the meters, but NO time will be given. If the meter is damaged, jammed, or otherwise not working, please do not park there. Parking at a malfunctioning meter is grounds for receiving a citation. Labels on meters may have further instruction.

One-Day Pass

Visitors may purchase a visitor day pass for any ASU campus through MyParking Online Services. Day passes are valid all day for the date purchased. Locations available at the Tempe Campus to purchase a one-day pass are:

ASU departments may request Guest Parking Reservations at least 2 business days prior to the day required for on the Tempe campus.

Parking Validation Stamps (ASU departments only)
ASU department representatives may purchase validation stamps by visiting the permit sales office (Downtown, Polytechnic, Tempe or West). All-day validation stamps are sold to campus departments at a discounted rate. Validation stamps may be issued to guests who park at any ASU visitor lot where a cashier is present to process payment.
