Polytechnic Central Plant
The new combined heat and power (CHP) Central Plant is located in the southeast quadrant of the ASU at the Polytechnic campus and provides the necessary utilities to operate new buildings, which consists of classroom and office buildings, new research facilities, and future intended growth.
CHP Central Plant consists of:
- Combustion turbine generators
- Heat Recovery Steam Generators
- Deaerator for Steam Production
- Gas Compressor Skid with Accessories
- Boiler Water Pumps
- Turbine Driven Chillers with Surface Condenser
- 3-Cell Cooling Towers
- Chilled Water Pumps
- Condenser Water Pumps
- Generator Electrical Switching Equipment
