ASU named one of nation's 'greenest' universities
ASU has been named one of the nation's "greenest" universities by The Princeton Review in its first-ever rating of environmentally friendly institutions.

With world attention on global environmental issues such as the greenhouse effect, the growing scarcity of water and the need for alternative sources of energy, the world’s first School of Sustainability has been established at ASU.
 
The new home of the Global Institute of Sustainability is one of the most eco-friendly buildings on ASU’s Tempe campus, taking advantage of natural light, recycled materials and wind power.
 
Julie A. Wrigley is making a $10 million investment in ASU to recruit four of the world's leading sustainability scholar-researchers.
