Recycling - Cardboard
Corrugated Cardboard
ASU continues to recycle corrugated cardboard in the designated bins/areas. If you do not have a cardboard hamper and would like to establish a designated area for cardboard recycling or need a one-time special pickup, contact recycle-q@asu.edu. Please remove any recyclables, StyrofoamTM or trash from inside boxes and flatten them.
The difference between chipboard/paperboard (cereal boxes, shoe boxes, etc.) and corrugated cardboard
Chipboard/paperboard (located on the left side of the picture) is compressed paper, whereas corrugated cardboard consists of two rigid outer layers and a wavy interlayer.
