Advertising 5520 01 Sale of space in an ASU publication or other media to an advertiser for promotion of the advertiser’s product, e.g., advertising in the State Press.
Sponsorship 5520 02

Sale of space in an ASU publication or other media to a sponsor for printing or displaying an acknowledgement or recognition of sponsorship payments. Acknowledgements may include the following, provided that the effect is identification of the sponsor rather than promotion of the sponsor’s products, services, or facilities:

  1. sponsor logos and slogans that do not contain comparative or qualitative descriptions of the sponsor’s products, services, facilities, or company

  2. sponsor locations and telephone numbers
  3. value-neutral descriptions, including displays or visual depictions, of a sponsor’s product-line or services

    and

  4. sponsor brand or trade names and product or service listings.

Logos or slogans that are an established part of a sponsor’s identity are not considered to contain comparative or qualitative descriptions.
