How to Sell to ASU

Bid Process

Arizona State University is committed to forging new relationships with the vendor/supplier community. You do not have to be a registered vendor/supplier to submit a bid or proposal. However, ASU buyers send solicitations to those who have expressed an interest in doing business with the University along with those who are likely to be competitive in the bid process.

Our buyers are organized in commodity groups and keep a list of vendors/suppliers offering related goods and services to whom they send solicitations. If you would like to receive solicitations from ASU, follow the steps below to be included in ASU Bidders Lists and get the latest news on opportunities at ASU:

  1. Complete the Vendor Authorization Form (Substitute W-9)
  2. Look for your company's products/services in our Commodity Buyers Directory
  3. Fax your Vendor Authorization Form to the appropriate Commodity Buyer(s) at ASU
  4. Watch for solicitations sent from ASU buyers
  5. Continue to check these resources for other ASU solicitations:

Note: While our buyers attempt to notify prospective suppliers of opportunities at ASU, vendors are ultimately responsible for researching and pursuing solicitation opportunities using these and other resources.

Buyers are not required to send solicitations to every vendor/supplier who has a registration form on file. Prospective vendors/suppliers who do not respond to solicitations, who are consistently the highest priced or otherwise not competitive, who have failed to perform in the past, who have wasted time with frivolous
protests, or who have lost the confidence of user departments, are not sent solicitations.
