University Classroom (UCL) Space Management

Mission

The teaching/learning environment profoundly affects the way our students learn. The classroom environment is influenced in part by color, furniture, lighting, acoustics, vertical writing surfaces, multi-media tools, and sense of place. It is the responsibility of UCL Space Management to work with other departments on campus to maintain each of our centrally-scheduled classrooms at the highest possible standard.

Campus Community Input

The centrally-scheduled classrooms are foremost for the students and faculty members at ASU. UCL Space Management encourages discourse on how to create more functional, inviting, stimulating, and flexible spaces. We invite comments and suggestions from faculty, staff, and students on ways to improve classrooms across campus.

Although suggestions for improvements can be made at any time, suggestions are reviewed at the end of the fall and spring semesters, and are prioritized and approved based on available funding.

Please complete the UCL Suggestion Form or contact us at UCL-SpaceMgt@asu.edu.
