Weddings & Banquets
The University Club is a beautiful location for your wedding and reception, graduation party or retirement reception. Surrounded by lush, green grounds, historical buildings and a beautiful fountain off Old Main, the University Club is an ideal location not only for guests, but also photographs as well as lasting memories.
Need to get out of the normal routine or need a fresh environment? The University Club can host your corporate meeting or conference as well.
The University Club has many a variety of room options to accommodate a guest list that is large or small. The University Club has three rooms available upstairs the South, North and Thoren rooms. The University Club has a gazebo outside, which is a perfect place to have your wedding ceremony.
The University Club has two floors. On the first floor is the Bistro/patio and the clubroom.
Room Details
Bistro/Patio: The Bistro has square tables that can hold up to 4 guests at each table; it is set up in a restaurant style (this is where we have our lunch service). We have a patio that is connected to the bistro as well.
Clubroom: The Clubroom has a piano, TV, and a few couches in it. We can put a few of the Bistro tables in this room to hold more guests.
South Room: The South Room is our largest room and can hold up to 80 guests at rounds or 100 guests theatre style. The South Room is separated by a foyer from the North and Thoren rooms.
North Room: The North Room is our second largest and can hold up to 40 guests at rounds or 60 guests theatre style. The North Room has double pocket doors to allow the room to open into the Thoren Room and allow for an additional 30 guests sitting at round tables.
Thoren Room: The Thoren Room is our smallest room and can hold up to 30 guest at rounds or theatre style. This room has double pocket doors to allow the room to open into the North Room and hold an additional 40 guests at round tables.
If the above rooms are not large enough for your event Old Main has the Carson Ballroom and should be able to house a few hundred guest. To reserve the room at Old Main you will need to contact Mike Tomah at 480.965.5063. The University Club can still cater the event if you were to have it in Old Main.
Pricing/Rental Fees
For an ASU event it is $450 for the entire club, $250 for one floor of the club and $125 for one room. For non-ASU events it is $750 for the entire club, $450 for one floor of the club and $250 for one room. If a member of the University Club attends our event then the facility room rental fee is waived. The facility rental fee is just to use the facility.
We also have a podium with a microphone a pull down screen in the north and south room upstairs and a screen we can put up into the thoren room. To rent any of this equipment their is a rental fee of $25.
Parking
For parking we have 55 spaces available and it is free. If extra parking is needed the Foundation Futon Center is across the street and they have a parking garage but some extra fees may apply.
